Booking: The shipper or its agent shall fill out the container cargo consignment note within a certain period of time before the shipment of goods in accordance with the provisions of the trade contract or letter of credit, and entrust Tengcong Logistics or directly apply for booking with the cooperating shipping company. After receiving the booking application, Tengcong Logistics will promptly communicate with the shipping company to confirm the availability of the cabin space and provide feedback to the shipper.
Accepting consignment application: The shipping company or its agent decides whether to accept or not based on their own capacity, route, and other specific circumstances, taking into account the shipper's requirements. If the application is accepted, the shipping company or its agent will assign a number consistent with the bill of lading number on several copies of the consignment note, fill in the name of the ship, voyage number, and sign it, indicating that the shipper's booking has been confirmed. At the same time, the booking receipt, loading order, and other documents related to the shipper will be returned to Tengcong Logistics. Tengcong Logistics will then forward these documents to the shipper.
Distribution of empty containers: Usually, empty containers for full container freight are collected by the shipper from the container terminal yard, and some shippers have their own containers; The empty containers for LCL freight are collected by the container freight station. Tengcong Logistics will assist the shipper in handling the procedures for collecting empty containers, ensuring that the empty containers arrive at the designated location on time and safely.
LCL cargo packing: The shipper delivers less than one full box of goods to the freight station, and the freight station is responsible for packing the goods based on the booking list and station receipt. Then, the container packing list is prepared by the shipper. Tengcong Logistics will supervise the packing process to ensure that the goods are packed correctly and safely.
Full container load handover: The shipper is responsible for packing the goods themselves and delivering the full container load that has been sealed by customs to the container terminal yard. The dock yard checks the station receipt and packing list based on the booking list to inspect the goods. Tengcong Logistics will assist the shipper in handling the goods handover procedures to ensure the smooth entry of goods into the dock yard.
Handover visa for containers: After the container terminal yard inspects the goods and containers, it signs the station receipt and returns the signed station receipt to Tengcong Logistics. Tengcong Logistics will then hand it over to the shipper, who will exchange the bill of lading accordingly.
Exchange Bill of Lading: The shipper exchanges the bill of lading with Tengcong Logistics or the shipping company responsible for container transportation based on the signed station receipt, and then goes to the bank for foreign exchange settlement. Tengcong Logistics will assist the shipper in handling the bill of lading exchange procedures to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of the bill of lading.
Loading: The container loading and unloading area formulates a loading plan based on the loading situation, and adjusts the shipped boxes to the yard in front of the container terminal for loading after the ship docks. Tengcong Logistics will track the loading status of goods in real time and provide timely feedback to customers.
